ALTERNATE HOTEL ROOMS

For those of you who are planning to attend this year's conference, in San Antonio. When some of our NAHTM members have tried to book their hotel rooms, they have had some problems with there being "no rooms available". Our ASHES coordinator, Jose, states that they are moving some ASHES people over who booked their reservations in the wrong group block. This should free up rooms for NAHTM members to reserve their rooms. He suggests that you wait until Friday, tomorrow, June 27th, to book your rooms; this will give enough time for the hotel to move people who booked in the wrong group block. If you still have problems getting into the Hyatt, he suggested the Marriott Riverwalk. Tangee checked rates and they cannot offer the same rate as the Hyatt, but they gave her 2 other alternatives.

For all who plan to attend our NAHTM / ASHES conference: Even though you will be registering through ASHES, and receiving a letter of confirmation from ASHES, we want you to know you will be receiving a confirmation letter from NAHTM as well. This letter will let you know that NAHTM has been informed that you are planning to attend. It is very important to us that we know which of our members are attending the conference, so we can make sure to welcome you, ourselves. If that letter is not forthcoming within 15 days of the date you sent your registration, please email Cathleen Thom ( ).

Remember! – When registering for this year’s conference, remember to use you NAHTM ID number. This ID number, beginning with N (for NAHTM) can be found above your name when you access the NAHTM Members’ page. If your NAHTM membership has expired, or will be expiring before the conference, renew your membership now.
